Have knowledge of all design phases of commercial projects of varying sizes and complexities from conception through construction.

Conceptual design skills to assist in responding to the needs of our clients and ultimately provide exciting solutions to our integrated design teams.

Provide design leadership with the project team, including the ability to direct and evaluate design options based on client-driven criteria. Work directly with Director of Design. Perform as a Team Player.

Lead discussions with and present/communicate interior solutions to clients (Superintendents, School Boards, etc.).

Have expertise in techniques, products, and material costs used in commercial educational environments.Possess strong design skill to be able to develop and implement design concepts considering construction methodology and the ability to produce construction drawings and specifications.

Work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Plan, schedule and complete the development of projects. Be able to manage and work on multiple projects at once and self-manage priorities.

Architectural Intern

Structural Engineer-in-Training (EIT)

Currently we are seeking a talented individual for the role of Structural Engineer-in-Training to join our team. The Structural EIT, working under one or more licensed Professional Engineers, will be responsible for structural engineering analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, light-gage and wood structures, and will participate in production of structural contract drawings.
Duties Include:

Perform structural building analysis and design in compliance with codes based on geotechnical reports
-
Produce 3D structural Revit models integrated with architectural Revit models
-
Draw plans and details in Revit format, with some work in AutoCAD
-
Coordinate drawings with architectural and Civil/MEP consultant drawings
-
Prepare, for PE review, answers to contractor requests for information (RFI’s) and markups of shop drawings
-
Perform project site visits within Texas
-
If needed, may occasionally learn and perform civil engineering and/or architectural tasks under the supervision of in-house professionals
Qualifications:
The position requires the ability to work closely with an integrated multi-discipline team under tight deadlines and communicate clearly (both in writing and verbally), working overtime when requested.
Required experience and education include:

Must have a Bachelors of Science in Civil and/or Structural Engineering with coursework in the following:

Must have passed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam.
